A little bit more about me..

I'm an independent remote senior developer and entrepreneur based in Dublin, Ireland. I absolutely love anything web related, since the early days of dial-up-modems.

I am a full-stack developer (I build both beautiful UI interfaces, as well as the logic that powers them), and have spent over 15 years honing my craft.

I have a first class honours degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Trinity College Dublin; but everything I have learned about the online-world has been self-taught.

I consider myself a life-long learner and my curiousity has led me into various types of roles which I thoroughly enjoy.

Entrepreneur

I have been involved in many different businesses over the years. After college I got involved in a sportswear clothing startup, moved on to web development, and after a number of years founded my own tech startup Dynamic Reservations for the travel market. We raised over €500k of seed capital through a number of investors including Enterprise Ireland.

Since Dynamic Reservations, I have been working in a consulting role, most recently with US based Skystone LLC to help them expand their modular construction businesses into the Irish and UK market.

  • I worked with Daragh in Dynamic Reservations as the tech lead of a remote development team. We had team members in the Ukraine, Dublin and Wexford (myself), so we were pretty distributed.

    Daragh was responsible for every aspect of our tooling and processes, putting everything we needed into place so we could work as a highly effective remote team. As our team changed and grew over time, so did our our processes, evolving and adapting to meet the needs of the product and the team, and Daragh was key to this.
